I was happy with our stay. Clean site, attentive employees quickly filled my propane and cleaned up broken glass on playground. Roads somewhat narrow, but that is due to Tahoe environmental quacks that won't let them cut trees. Would have rated higher but I hate it when they try to gouge for wireless internet. It is a forest with a lot of pine trees - normal pollen when we stayed. Overall, very happy with the accomodations.

After initially assigning us a space that would not fit our camper. Re-assigned when we pointed out the issue. Recommend large units in pull thru. It is a dirt bike/quad toy playground. A little dustier than a normal campground, if you want a clean parking lot type campground - don't camp here. Non-paved spaces and trees make it more natural. No problem with low branches for us. Dirt bike rides were fun up into the mountains. Wife, 9yr old and 12 yr old and I had fun. Nothing too challenging - mostly fire roads. Explore up into high sierra lakes - we brought swim suits and had fun. Certain trails get fairly rocky, but not too bad. Watch for 4x4 trucks, etc.

Nice rural campground. Very pretty lake. We hiked around a good portion of the lake, very nice. Only 12 RV hookup sites. No problem fitting our 37' fifth wheel. Small but nice place for a weekend. Unfortunately, the tent campers directly behind are RV were noisy, messy, and heavy drinkers. The campground asked them to tone down their language (we have young boys). The managers did everything right, but it's hard to manage impolite people. At $29 a night, this is a bargain.

Very clean campground. Happened to go on 4th of July weekend. It was a little chaotic. It seemed like many people had friends/family visit for the day. Way too many people in park. Very kid/family friendly campground. A lot of activities for kids (Tie dye shirts, bounce pillow, playground, candy bar bingo). Would go again, but not on a holiday weekend.

Not worth the $. Park maintenance acceptable. Not much staff around. Cute karaoke night. Very noisy freeway. Would not stay here again.
